The Temperature Thermostat by HabiStat is an on/off thermostat ideal for controlling carpets, blankets and heating cables as well as other low power heating devices up to a maximum load of 600W.

An on/off thermostat is a type of thermostat that turns the heater on at full power until the desired temperature is reached and then completely switches the heater off until the temperature drops below the set temperature, at which point it turns the heater back on and the cycle repeats. It is not a type of thermostat suitable for heating lamps.
